We are excited to introduce local painter, actress, and model Lorrisa Julianus as the next featured artist in our ongoing exhibition series Local Art @ EPL. From now through the end of November, her eclectic collection Embrace the Night will be on display on the 2nd floor of EPL’s Main Branch. Finding inspiration in “the duality of light and dark,” Ms. Julianus uses classical chiaroscuro styling in her acrylics “to give dimension and mystery to dramatic subjects.” You can view more of Ms. Julianus’ work by visiting her website, and make sure to check back with Off the Shelf later in November for a featured interview with the artist herself.
